Vibration

Exposure of human beings to vibration can be harmful in the long term and cause a range of diseases. Significant factors are the vibration amplitude, frequency, and duration of exposure. Machines with an operator's station or driver's platform in particular should be designed such that any vibrations occurring are not transmitted to the operator. Since vibration is generally also associated with exposure to noise, machines must be designed to cause the lowest possible exposure to Vibration.
