Problems |
Precise control movements are required during setup and adjustment of machine tools. However, this often presents difficulties, since the controls are either integrated in the housing, or can be swivelled only within a limited range. Under certain circumstances, this may mean that simultaneous observation of the tool and operation of the control panel is possible only blind and in an unfavourable body posture (see also EN 1005-4). |

Solution |
The remote control of the machine is a miniature, cable-linked control module that combines important functions in a compact solution. It can be detached from the control panel and held in the hand during setup, adjustment or measurement on the tools or components in the machine. The operator can thus assume the ideal position for viewing the machine whilst at the same time reaching the controls easily and without having to adopt an unfavourable body posture. |
